Come join us for a Family Picnic

We’re having a picnic and we want you to come!

So, all the details can be found in this poster:

But in case you can’t read it, or your computer screen is wonky and the font is fuzzy, here are the details:

Where: Canoe Cove
When: July 24, 3-6PM (that’s a Sunday)
Bring: your own food (there are BBQ shelters on site, but no BBQs), games to share, kites, fun activities, etc., and a willingness to meet new friends

It’s going to be a great time. Look forward to seeing you all there!

  1. Boy, you are getting right down to business. Nice job on the web page. Does this mean that the other page is now dead? I like the photo on the home page. It kinda looks like West Point with all the wind mills in the background. I guess it could also be the Tignish Run or even North Lake. It is a nice visual combo in any case. Reminds that our Island is in a state of change. P.E.I. has changed a lot over the past twenty years. With so many retired people moving to the Island and building new homes. Due to changing world markets the rural farms are now becoming a thing of the past. Fish plants have been closing and tourism supply has been growing faster than demand. With the Confederation bridge, cell phone and high speed Internet service everywhere we are linked to the world from just about any point on the Island. The age of the knowledge worker is here and the farming and fishing industry related labor jobs are going away. It would be an interesting exercise to visualize what the Island could be like in another twenty years.

Thanks for everyone’s hard work to get this web page up.

    Smiles 🙂

    Gary

  2. I love the picture here – perhaps it has something to do with that little girl on the beach. We are really looking forward to the picnic this Sunday and we have great weather ordered. What more can we ask!!!
